Annapilos, MD

During our stay in Annapolis we took a tour of the Naval Academy. The history of the institution goes back to 1845. John Paul Jones is buried here and a midshipmen guards the crypt 24 hours a day.
Sue and I are standing next to the Navy’s mascot “The Navy Goat”. The goat has been a mascot for the Navy since they won the very first Army, Navy game. “Beat Army” is the word of the day at this institution.
This waterway in Annapolis is known as “Ego Alley” sort of cruising on the water

Even dogs love riding through Ego Alley.

Annapolis is the only city I know of that uses “paces” as a unit of measurement.

Here we have the girls waiting for their guys to return.

On our way back to our boat we saw an unwanted visitor swimming in the marina. No swimming for us today.
