Dowrey Creek to Elizabeth City, NC

Sue is giving Lisa a bath today when the temperature hit 90 today.
This is Dowrey Creeks VHF antenna. Also check out the guide cables that keep the antenna stable below.

I remember using these hooks to keep cards together to memorize my multiplication tables in grade school.

It took us five hours to run from Dowrey Creek to Elizabeth City, NC. where there is a large Coast Guard base. There is also a 90 year old man that hands out roses to the women who arrive by boat to the town docks. A very friendly town.

This is a very old town. Wilbur Wright stayed here when he was checking out Kitty Hawk before their first flight.

Lisa was very tired after the 85 mile run today.

The mom is waiting for dad to return with fish for the kids, we have seen many Osprey nests.

Check out all the Cyprus knees, we see them all along the banks in NC. This is an area just South of our marina. We take Lisa for a walk here most of the time.

We are just a mile away from downtown Elizabeth City, NC. It went from 90 degrees yesterday to 65 degrees today with rain.
