Charleston and Georgetown, SC

We took a carriage tour of the city with Greg and Sally today. There is a lot to see in Charleston.
Meet our horse, "Mr Ed".

All the houses in town have great gardens.

The round details on the house are actually rods that run through the house because of earth quakes. Charleston is on a fault.

Some examples of low tide at the marina.

We toured Ft Sumter with friends. The first shots of the Civil War were heard here.

The Fort was laid to shambles at the start of the Civil War. Of course the Civil War is called "The war of Northern Aggression" down here.

Sue is inside the five foot walls of Ft Sumter.

Some tugs are starting to help a cargo move into port.

We passed the aircraft Yorktown on our way back from Ft. Sumter.

This is one "kick ass" Tow Boat US, tow boat.

More cruise liners arrive in Charleston.

Here are some good deals on boats. Let me know if you want me to send you details.

People having fun on the water on the ICW.

Sue in downtown Georgetown, SC. This is the third oldest town in South Carolina. This town has many marinas.
