Leaving Cape May

As we left Cape May we passed the Coast Guard Station it is also the CG boot camp. The ship shown here is a 87 foot cutter.
There are many fishing boats in this area.

This fisherman caught four sharks and threw back three, the flags he’s flying tells the story

We passed many markers that had Osprey nests.

This may look like dirt but are really immature mussels. Cape May is a natural fly way for many species of birds who feed on the rich food source in the area.

The signs tell the story of low spots in the ICW.
