Not much room in the lock.

They trailer some big boats here. :-)

This is beautiful country.

A family of four came into this marina. Husband and wife in the big boat and the kids in the other. The boy driving could not have been 12 yet.
The lock looks big when there is only one small boat in it.
We visited an Huron Indian settlement.
The tribe has accepted me. My Indian name means "Smelly Feet".
The chicken dinner was great.

This area is called 30,000 islands. These two rocks are considered islands. Therefore, if the water is high there may only be 26,000 islands.
Have I ever mentioned that there are some beautiful old boats up here?
A couple of boats coming back from the hardware store.
If you don't have a boat then a float plane is a must up here.
Ski and Capt. Mike in Georgian Bay. Mike has 30 years service in the Police Force.
This lock rises 65 feet.
A 100 foot boat can fit in this water box.
As you can see our boat now has jet drives. No need of props.
