Bobcaygeon, ON

Another day another lock, this one is a flight lock (two locks connected together.
We went thru 25 locks on one engine.

Lisa sometimes lies between my legs as I pilot the boat down the waterway.

One of many beautiful houses along the waterway.

This is the Peterborough lock. It has two tubs that alow boats to go from upstream to downstream and from downstream to upstream at the same time. It does this by adding one foot of water to the upper tub.

Meet Liz and Keith. They helped us dock at a couple of marinas til we got to Buckhorn for repairs. They are the greatest. They own the Inn in Bobcaygeon, ON
Keith and Liz followed us thru 12 locks letting the lockmasters know we had problems. The lock doors would be open waiting for us to enter first.

There are many rocks just below the water.

Three of the four dogs that belong to Liz and Keith. They are so cute.
This motel knows how to advertize.
