Mobile Bay to Pensacola Florida

Jerry is checking out the Susan Darlene'a engine room befoire we leave Mobile Bay. Just kiding we are in the engine of the battle ship Alabama on a tour.

These 16" guns could send a 2500 shell over 22 miles. That's like throwing a toyota 22 miles.

Here we are leaving Dog River Marina heading into Mobile Bay. The bay was great with very little wind. We took in some local knowledge and cut off many miles getting to the ICW.

Jerry was trying to find this object on the charts but couldn't. Turns out that this a moving object. What ever it is was underway with a Coast Guard escort. We are seeing a lot of different ships on this trip.

Here is the famous light house in Mobile Bay.

There are many good boats
for sale here. We're on the ICW just East of Mobile Bay.

The famous Lulus resturant (Jimmy Buffets sister) just East of Mobile Bay
